Alpha Pair....sure

So when I kindly received this ARC I was very excited by the premise. I love to alpha characters going head to head against each other. When they are both a supernatural pair it makes it even better. For some reason it didn’t occur to me that this was not the first book in the series but either way, the story was easy enough to follow along. I felt like Tatiana was a strong female lead with her own demons while Demetri came off almost brutish. They had sparks flying from the beginning but I don’t know why I just did love the book. The story started pretty dark with Demetri’s kidnapping and Tatiana’s involvement in his rescue then took a sharp left to happytown with them attending a friend’s wedding together. The story just didn’t flow and I found myself skimming. I suppose if you have invested yourself in this series keep going, if not I’d maybe take it with a grain of salt. Mehhhh.
