I loved the main character in this book Aly. She was an awkward yet likable doctor smitten with the sexy quarterback who sweeps her off her sweet. Due to some chance and some ironic bets both are thrown together and an unlikely relationship comes out of it. It was a somewhat predictable but enjoyable sports romance with a HEA.

"I couldn't put this one down. I connected with the main character Aly so much. She was an awkward, blunt, somewhat socially challenged protagonist. She is not much of a talker or even a people person but an amazing physician who genuinely cares for her patients. During rounds one day she bumps into Jace, an all-star quarterback who is volunteering at the hospital.
Their paths continue to cross at the hospital and due to a bet with his friends, Jace asks out Aly. Ironically due to another bet Aly is forced to say yes, even though neither is very interested/compatible with the other. As you can imagine the first date doesn't go as planned in more ways that one. ;)
I loved the progression of the relationship and how Aly didn't all of a sudden become a social butterfly after meeting Jace. Her character stayed true throughout the book. There are a few bumpy moments to add onto the climax and surrounding characters but besides that this was a somewhat predictable story. This however did not distract from the book and the the likable protagonists.
Recommendation: Read it! Its a sweet sports romance with plenty of steam.
